ANAGNI – Work not only produces, but also fulfills the human person, contributing to a complete humanity that becomes praise to the Lord—especially when it arises from human ingenuity and brings benefits to the community without seeking mere profit. This is the essence of the message that Archbishop Santo Marcianò addressed to the leadership of Aviorec on Wednesday afternoon, November 12, during an intense and meaningful visit to what is today one of the most prestigious enterprises in the national manufacturing landscape.
The Anagni-based company, which is preparing to celebrate twenty years of activity and provides employment to around one hundred families, represents a model of modern industry capable of combining technological innovation with deep attention to the human dimension of work.
The origins of Aviorec and the vision of the Recchia family
Aviorec was born from the intuition of Giovanni Recchia, originally from Sgurgola and already well-established in the construction sector. Today, the baton has passed to his children: Francesco, involved in managing the construction division; Angelica, who also oversees the family’s restaurant business; and Jacopo, the company’s CEO. It is a family story animated by genuine unity and passion, qualities clearly visible in every department of the company.
The firm specializes in the industrialization and production of composite-material components intended for the aerospace, automotive, marine, and railway sectors. Over time, thanks to highly specialized expertise, Aviorec has become a benchmark in the production of structural composite parts—such as helicopter blades—designed with cutting-edge solutions and exceptionally high quality standards.
Innovation and challenges overcome: from Cleansky to cooperation with universities
Among the company’s most significant projects is the creation of the composite casing for a new-generation engine for commercial aircraft, developed within the European Cleansky program. This major achievement improves energy efficiency by reducing fuel consumption, emissions, and noise pollution.
Around half of Aviorec’s production is destined for Leonardo, while an additional facility in Poland strengthens the group’s international presence.
Completing this productive ecosystem is the Research and Development division, which collaborates closely with some of the most important Italian universities. Recent projects include the partnership with La Sapienza University for the design and construction of composite ailerons for the student racing car of the Fast Charge team, as well as the development of new systems for producing longitudinal stiffeners used in carbon-fiber fuselages of medium and long-range aircraft.
Archbishop Marcianò’s visit: a meeting with human ingenuity
During his visit to the Aviorec facilities—accompanied by provincial councillor Andrea Amata, delegate for the Committee on Growth, Sustainable Development, and the NRRP—Archbishop Marcianò observed up close the work of employees, stopping to greet each one, shaking hands, listening, and offering words of encouragement.
The centrality of the human person, often emphasized in the homilies marking the beginning of his pastoral ministry, emerged once again as the core of his message: a reminder of the Church’s social teaching, which calls for recognizing labor as an authentic expression of human dignity.
A treasure for the territory: industry, culture, tradition
Beyond leading a cutting-edge company, the Recchia family continues to invest in the territory with a broad and dynamic vision. They are also active in the editorial field with the online newspaper Anagnia, now a key reference point for local information.
Recently, the group acquired the historic Callegari inflatable boat brand, whose production will soon return to Anagni—a further sign of deep-rooted commitment and confidence in the potential of the region.
